what LFN fic/vid would you recommend?

nell65So - I'm "driving the rec van" for LFN this month at Crack_Van.
I volunteered for this gig in October 2004 (!) after the shipping manifesto event, where the author of the lovely Michael and Nikita manifesto trashed all LFN fic.
Well - time waits for no one, even old fangirls like me, and at last I got tapped for this month.
As I am the first to do LFN recs for Crack_Van - I also have to produce a character/show summary to fill in enough so someone new to the fic could follow along (or get a refresher for an old love!).
I linked above to my first attempt at a summary - and I've recced Betsy's Night Before/Morning After.
I get 11 more story recs and one vid rec for the month, and I aim to fill out my brief summary. Once LFN has been established as a minor fandom (in terms of output) - then anyone else could volunteer to take the wheel and you'd be able to rec probably the very next month according to the Crack_Van mods.
So this means that while I'd like to showcase the fandom pretty broadly with the 12 recs I have to spend, someone else could hop on board in the next few months and toss up another dozen per month.
But now that I've begun - any suggestions for what else I should rec this month? I'd like to go for variety - short, long, AU, episodic, post canon, romance, comedy, plotty gen, HR, TR, and anything else anyone especially likes.
Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions - (and I apologize in advance for the cross posting/spamming - I'm trying to reach as many still sorta active LFN fen as I can and while I know most folks are on all the various comms, some are only on one).

I will admit to trying to make sure I get in enough variety of types of stories, just to show off what LFN's got - rather than simply sticking to my personal favorites - but the HR recs are all mine. *g*
