Living the Normal Life

This is the first section of the very first fanfic I ever started writing. There is a long story about why I never finished it until now, but that isn't important.

I think many of you have read bits and pieces, and some of you (like sk!) have read lots if not all of this, over the many years I've been fiddling with it.

So, the fandom is La Femme Nikita, the Television Series. This is set post-series and is one of my versions of what life might have been like for my favorite characters. I think one term for this fic might be 'kitchen-curtain fic' but I like to think it isn't quite that full of smarm!

I was, and still am, and undoubtedly always will be a HR (Hopeless Romantic=Michael and Nikita shipper) and a DON, defender of Nikita. This fic reflects that. This fic also began as a writing exercise in the struggle to show not tell, I will let you readers be the judge of my success in that goal.

I must thank sk, who beta-read much of this, a long time ago, as did ~delle and even bonniebo.

The errors and infelicitous portions are my own, and what grace there is was improved by their care and comments.
